About Natasha

Writer | Video/Audio Editor | Photographer

Natasha is slowly building up her portfolio to showcase her writing, editing and photography abilities.

She greatly believes there is always room for improvement in everything she does - her knowledge of the English language, writing skills, video and audio editing, and photography skills - by striving to work really hard.

She wants her work to be seen by the world and them to witness the growth of these skills.

As Natasha is no longer a part-time student and married, she is able to use the time once dedicated to studying to working out at home with her husband. Other than that, she enjoys doing absolutely nothing on her rest days as she deserves it after working hard over 5 days. During this time, she prefers catching up on Korean, Taiwanese and American drama, and some documentaries. The recent show that Natasha and her husband are watching is Grey's Anatomy.

Natasha is really proud of the three A-'s she has achieved for:
 - Writing for TV and Radio,
 - Feature Writing (where she rode a roller coaster for a review piece), and
 - Language Structure: Sentences and Sounds.
She was also graded two B+'s for:
 - Writing for Print and Emerging Media, and
 - English in Singapore.

On 10th October 2019, Natasha proudly walked across the stage at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) during her convocation, receiving her Bachelor of Communication with English Language, with a CGPA of 3.0 - a big accomplishment after her struggling 6-year journey (do ask her about it).

Natasha is also a proud holder of a Graduate Diploma in Applied Linguistics (TESOL) awarded by SUSS. Her goal for this is to one day be able to settle down in Bangkok, Thailand and teach English to the locals.

Natasha has also completed her CET with SUSS, where she took the course: Marketing Management (MKT202).

What Natasha hopes to achieve with pestanatasha:
- Tremendous improvement of her writing skills - grammar, punctuation, adaptation to different writing styles, and broadening her vocabulary.
- A vast improvement in her video editing skills - Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects becoming her second nature, audio editing - and honing her photography skills.

Lastly, Natasha edited episodes 1 to 8 of SPEQ:TRUM podcast, created and hosted by veteran journalist Jamie Nonis.
